INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPENING COMPETITIVE BIDDING (REGIONAL)

 INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES TO THE EAC HEADQUARTERS AND EXECUTIVE STAFF RESIDENTIAL PREMISES UNDER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR FY2025/2026.

1. The East African Community (EAC) is a regional intergovernmental organisation comprised of the Republic of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of South Sudan, the Republic of Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania. The Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community was signed on 30th November 1999 and entered into force on 7th July 2000.

2. The East African Community has been allocated funds in the Financial Year 2025-2026 and intends to apply part of these funds towards eligible payments under the contract for the Provision of Security Services to the EAC Headquarters and Executive Staff Residential Premises, as outlined in the Framework Agreement.

3. The East African Community now invites bids from eligible bidders for the Tender to provide Security Services at the EAC headquarters and Residential Premises for Executive Staff under a framework agreement.
   
   
4. Bidding will be conducted through a regional competitive procedure open to all eligible bidders using the Standard Bidding Document. It is not transferable.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and inspect the bidding document during office hours (0800 hrs to 1700 hrs, (Arusha Local time): Monday to Friday at the address given below.
   
   
6. The bidding document in English can be downloaded free of charge from the EAC website, https://www.eac.int/opportunities/procurement-procedures
   
   
7. The bidding will be conducted by submission through the EAC electronic procurement system. Interested bidders will be required to register and submit their bids through the EAC e-procurement system at http://eacprocurement.eac.int/ before or on December 8, 2025, at 11.30 a.m. Arusha Local time. The system will reject any late bids. Bids will be publicly opened on the EAC eprocurement system in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below:
