INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPENING COMPETITIVE BIDDING (REGIONAL)
Subject of Procurement: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF AIR TRAVEL AND TICKETING AGENCY SERVICES (WITH A LOCAL PRESENCE IN TANZANIA) IN THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2025/2026.

- The East African Community (EAC) is a regional intergovernmental organisation comprised of the Republic of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of South Sudan, the Republic of Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania. The Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community was signed on 30th November 1999 and entered into force on 7th July 2000.
- The East African Community has been allocated funds in the Financial Year 2025-2026. It intends to apply part of the funds towards eligible payments under the contract for Provision of Air Travel and Ticketing Agency Services (With A Local Presence in Tanzania) under the Framework Agreement.
- The EAC now invites your sealed bid clearly indicated as PROVISION OF AIR TRAVEL AND TICKETING AGENCY SERVICES (WITH A LOCAL PRESENCE IN TANZANIA)
- Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive bidding procedure and is open to all eligible bidders and is not transferable.

- The bidding document in English can be downloaded free of charge from the EAC website, https://www.eac.int/opportunities/procurement-procedures
- The bidding will be conducted by submission through the EAC electronic procurement system. Interested bidders will be required to register and submit/upload their bids through the EAC eprocurement system at http://eacprocurement.eac.int/ on or before 1st December 2025, at 11.30 a.m. Arusha Local time. The system will reject any late bids. Bids will be publicly opened on the EAC eprocurement system in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below:
