EAC Customs Union Regulations: Subsidies and Countervailing Measures

The purpose of these Regulations is to implement the provisions of Articles 17 and 18 of the Protocol and to ensure that there is uniformity among the Partner States in the application of subsidies and countervailing measures and that to the extent possible the process is transparent, accountable, fair, predictable and consistent with provisions of the Protocol.

EAC Customs Union Regulations: Safeguard Measures

The purpose of these Regulations is to implement the provisions of Article 19 of the Protocol and to ensure that there is uniformity among Partner States in the application of safeguard measures and that to the extent possible the process is transparent, accountable, fair, predictable and consistent with the provisions of the Protocol.

EAC Customs Union Regulations: Freeport Operations

The purpose of these Regulations is to implement the provisions of Article 31 of the Protocol and to ensure that there is uniformity among Partner States in the implementation of freeport operations and that to the extent possible, the process is transparent, accountable, fair, predictable and consistent with the provisions of the Protocol.

EAC Customs Union Regulations: Export Processing Zones

The purpose of these Regulations is to implement the provisions of Article 29 of the Protocol and to ensure that there is uniformity among the Partner States in the implementation of the provisions on export processing zones and to ensure to the extent possible, that the process is transparent, accountable, fair and predictable.
