INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF TWO (2) MOTOR VEHICLES FOR THE EAST AFRICAN COURT OF JUSTICE (EACJ)

The East African Community (EAC) is the regional intergovernmental organisation comprised of the Republic of Burundi, Republic of Kenya, Republic of Rwanda, Republic of Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of South Sudan and most recently the Democratic Republic of Congo.  The Treaty for Establishment of the East African Community was signed on 30^th November 1999 and entered into force on 7^th July 2000.

1. The EAC’s legal and institutional frameworks are based on the EAC Treaty. There are three organs of the EAC headquartered in Arusha Tanzania vis The East African Community Secretariat, the East African Legislative Assembly Acts, and the various Protocols; the institutional framework consists of the Executive, Legislative and East African Court of Justice (EACJ)

2. EACJ has been allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Two (2) Motor Vehicle and do hereby invite your sealed bid for Supply of Two (2) Motor Vehicles for EACJ for Financial Year 2022/2023.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive bidding procedure and is open to all eligible bidders and is not transferable.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and inspect the bidding document during office hours (from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs, (Arusha Local time): Monday to Friday (working days only) at the address given below.
   
   
5. The bidding document in English can be downloaded free of charge from the EAC website,https://www.eac.int/procurement-open
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 27^th June 2023 at 00 a.m. Arusha local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below
